Tornados and Pumkins

It's that time of year again!

It has now become a tradition to have a pumpkin carving and movie night every year around Halloween. Of course we come up with a theme every year and encourage everyone to dress up. This year it was "The Wizard of OZ." Grace actually chose this theme because she favored a Dorthy costume.

Here are some photos and a video of the event.

I always make a flyer to email out to those coming with the theme for the evening.

Our little Dorthy ready to "eat."

"Where are my ruby slippers?"

"Cake...Yes!"

Kisses for the camera.

PUMPKIN!

The crew with their creations.

We take this kind of photo every year. I really don't know why, but it's a tradition now and it MUST be followed :)

It's a twister! It's a twister!

Grace and the "tornado." Or is it...Grace IS the tornado? You be the judge.

New Baby Cousin

We went to the cousins to celebrate a birthday and visit. We have not seen them in a awhile so it was nice to catch up. Grace especially enjoyed "holding" her little cousin with Mommy. It was a long day for Grace and she fell asleep on the way home. We made sure to document the event :)

Pumpkin Patch

We trumpt through the pumpkin patch!

Phuong made many cookies for the Mom's Club bake sale and had a booth at the local farm and pumpkin patch. It was a fun event and Grace had a good time as well.

"Which one should I pick?"

"Ah...this one is just my size!"

"Actually, I could use all of these!!"

"Have you seen Shrek?"

"Mommy! Hand?"

OK. We just cannot resist taking these photos of Grace on the potty outdoors. These will be great to use when she is older :)

"Turkey? Where's the turkey?"
