We just received an email from CCAI saying that they have received our travel approvals today! They contacted the US Consulate in Guangzhou requesting appointments to travel earlier then expected.
As long as the Consulate appointments concur, this will confirm us traveling NEXT WEEK!
I see no reason why this cannot happen.
I still cannot believe that we will be going to China in 10 days!

Hi, I'm Christy Buskirk's Mom, Jackie. I wanted to say how happy I am for you both; you are starting a wonderful adventure with your new baby. It's been just over two years since I traveled with Christy to pick up Sunny. I imagine that you are frantic about now, preparing to travel to China. I hope that you get a chance to stay on Shamian Island in Guangzhou; it was so peaceful and nice. We stayed at the Victory Hotel the whole time except for two nights in Maoming. We went to Maoming to visit Sunny's orphanage and see her abandonment site. I wanted to wish you much luck and happiness on your journey.
